The Dark Before Your Light
The Power of your dark!
In many ways we develop a fear of the dark over time. We are designed to thrive in the light as this is when we can see the most and we find it easier with sight to deal with life.
When we are in the dark we panic. Our most used and precious sense is reduced because the amount of light that we can take in is significantly limited. Our initial response is to panic and shut down through fear. Fear of the dark can often make people freeze, run or make rash decisions. Within our body however we have 4 other main senses. These are heightened when on is reduced. Even our eyes adjust and with a little patience we start to become in tune with our dark environment. Our eyes adjust to the light and we can see better, our sense of smell, hearing, touch and taste become more sensitive which enable us to travel, move and adapt freely but with caution.
This metaphor of the dark can often be seen in our battles throughout life. Battles with money, relationships, health, depression and grief. We can head into “Dark” times throughout any aspect of life but we have ways to adjust. Over the course of my time as Perth Life Coach I will be delving into how you can master your “Dark” to give you the power, confidence, energy and purpose you need to thrive through these situations.
