Meet Wim Hof.
Wim May, by the photo, seem a little crazy for sitting himself in the ice without any clothing. Wim holds multiple world records for Ice related challenges, has changed the face of science and runs an extremely positive and successful business. It’s not these accolades that want me to share his story. In his early to mid 30’s Wim had to deal with the passing of his wife. It left him distraught, dealing with depression and writhing with emotional pain. It was here that he was drawn to the ice and enjoyed putting himself through tough situations, almost impossible to deal with, to help him control his depression and really own his situation. If you ever hear Wim speak he is a happy and jovial individual and has so much passion. This all came from the desire to put himself in a situation where he had to battle physically and helped him overcome his emotional trauma. Now I’m not saying go and start jumping in ice pools, despite the amazing health benefits, but being able to express emotions through tough and testing physical output can really help you master your dark. Wim is an inspirational man and most sure could be in a different place today we’re it not for him putting himself through this test.
If you find yourself struggling through depression please REACHOUT. We are here for you to support. @iceman_hof @onyx_train_adapt_evolve

My Name is Joey and I am a Life Coach under George Helou with EP7. I have been in the coaching industry for over 12 years within sports, health and fitness, but moved into the path of life coaching in 2016. After coaching many clients over my time I realised that a large part of my passion came from helping people through change and reinvention. Although this process is followed in my previous coaching role I felt I have so much more to give and offer people through the techniques and skills I have learnt through my time working with George.
